Learn more about what 4-H is.

Date: Monday, October 18th, 2021
Time: 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Location: McKee Building – The Ranch – 5280 Arena Circle, Loveland, CO

4-H assists youth in becoming community leaders & engaged citizens through hands-on learning. The curriculum is grounded in the latest research from Colorado State University.

4-H offers local, state, and national opportunities for youth. In Larimer County, we have 31 community 4-H clubs and offer over 40 different projects, such as:

  • Clothing construction & artistic sewing
  • Livestock
  • Food & Nutrition
  • Woodworking
  • Shooting Sports
  • Gardening
  • Welding

The Open House is a great opportunity to learn what 4-H is all about, see the work of current members, talk to current 4-H members & leaders, and sign up.

4-H clubs are open to youth ages 5-18 years old. The cut-off date for age is 12/31/2021.

The Open House is free to attend. Enrollment fees are $50 for one year.

To enroll, first select a club to join and projects to complete. You can complete up to 8 projects under the $50 enrollment fee. Projects may require supplies, animals, or have other associated costs, which are not covered by your enrollment fee. Scholarships are available to help cover certain costs through the Larimer County 4-H Foundation and the Larimer County 4-H Junior Leadership Club. Larimer County 4-H Extension Agents will be able to answer questions about additional costs and scholarship opportunities at the Open House.
